My Inspirations
What keeps me inspired to keep doing what I do:
I have been attending Bootcamp classes and Personal Training sessions with Richelle for the last year. Not only have I become physically stronger, but I have also become more confident, and my self-esteem has improved. I have so much more energy and an overall sense of well being. Richelle and Misty make class and workout sessions so much fun and they are both so encouraging. I am so grateful for the positive changes that have taken place in my life! – Kay B

Since I started Yoga with Richelle, I have noticed that the quality of my practice has changed; it became more mindful and focused. I am willing to open up and challenge myself thanks to Richelle’s ability to create a relaxing, safe, and fun environment. She has a very calming way about her teaching and I’ve realized that I am more concerned with my own practice (on my island, aka my mat) and less concerned about what everyone else was doing. I feel lucky to have found such a talented, generous and attentive teacher! She makes adjustments kindly and accurately and communicates with her students in a way that’s engaging and fun. Taking her classes is now an integral part of my life and I love every minute! – Belinda
I took my first Yoga class five months ago and must admit I had no idea what was in store for me. I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to relax and get in some good stretches. It probably did start out that way, but has definitely progressed beyond that. I see how much stronger I am, how I think about my breathing more and the incredible benefits of that. I’ve also become so much more aware of my posture, both in and out of class. Richelle has created a safe and comfortable environment and encourages us to always go that little bit further than we think we can. – Eleanor P

t step on my path to not only a healthy body but a whole new way of life and a whole new career! I thought about becoming an instructor and chatted with some friends who told me to GO FOR IT! I did, and then emailed Richelle. I wanted to thank her for being the kick started I needed to get me motivated to start this huge lifestyle change! I did Richelle’s grocery tour and learned how to choose the best foods for my body and then started apprenticing with her. So here I am today! I began taking Richelle’s Yoga classes in March 2009. After doing months of traditional cardio and resistance training, I was looking for something to compliment my current exercise schedule. After just a few classes, I was able to see a noticeable improvement in my breathing, flexibility, strength and posture. Yoga has allowed me to become more focused, relaxed and confident in my strengths. I am stronger, more flexible, toned and in overall better shape since incorporating Yoga into my life. In yoga, I have found something that challenges my body and mind simultaneously. Each of Richelle’s classes is small enough to provide all of us with the individual attention required to gain the most from our practice. Her instruction also involves personal, hands-on interaction that helps to tailor the practice to your own level. She respects your body’s strengths and its limits and works with you so that you get the most out of every practice. Richelle has a unique ability to push you beyond your limits and never fails to encourage and help you achieve the best in yourself. If you are looking for an excellent workout, Richelle will lead you through a class which is always challenging, yet leaves you feeling relaxed and re-energized. Thank you so much for being beacons on health and fitness!! Although you definitely kick my butt on a near weekly basis and during my workouts at home I hear “just 3 more”, I am so grateful!! You and Misty both offer so much encouragement and inspiration to your classes. Thank you for taking the time to help so many women realize their fitness goals. I may never learn to love tricep pushups but I will love the sense of accomplishment when I successfully complete a few reps!! And for that I’m thankful to you both!! – Taliena M
Bodysculpt Bootcamp classes have strengthened my body, given me motivation, increased my self-esteem. Classes are always mixed up. Each class is never the same as the previous class, making them fun, interesting and enjoyable. Richelle & Misty work with everyone. They do not “instruct”, they “work with you” to accomplish your own goals. It is their understanding, fun and friendly way of teaching which make the classes enjoyable. I feel great knowing that I am working- out at a pace that works for me, without any pressure. - Michelle D
I had my first training session with Richelle on September 9th, 2007. I firmly believe it was the kick in the pants that I needed to get up, get moving, and to pay attention to what I was eating. I’ve lost 4 inches from my chest, 8 inches from my waist, 8 inches from my hips and 3 inches from my right leg (so I’ll assume about 3 from the other side too!). I’m down over 35 lbs, about 7% body fat and 4 pant sizes. I’m swimming in most of my clothes. I feel pretty damn good so what a difference a year can make! So far I’ve met my goals – the biggest one was to work out regularly for an entire year and to not feel like it was a chore. My friends tell me that I look fantastic – it makes me wonder what I looked like before! I regularly mention your services to my friends when they ask me how I did it and I highly recommend that anyone consider personal training with you and/or I tell them to try Bootcamp. I want to say ‘thank you’ for the kick in the a**. You’re very good at what you do and I appreciate all of your advice. - Jen S
Since joining Bodysculpt Bootcamp with Misty as my trainer/instructor, my life has changed for the better. My confidence as a woman, wife and mother has blossomed. I am so much more aware of a what a healthy body consists of through exercise and nutrition. Over the years, I have tried different exercise classes that only lasted long enough to fulfill my obligations with no enjoyment. Once I joined “Bootcamp” with Misty I started to notice changes in my self within weeks, inches lost and my body taking on a strong feeling inside and out. I also loved the fact that family and friends took notice too! I have not felt this good about my body in years, after having 2 children your body takes on a different shape as all you Mother’s out there know! I can proudly say for the first time ,”I like my body” and that is is no easy task to accomplish and my gratitude to Misty as I am accomplishing these goals I have been yearning for. - Kerry-Lynn M
Richelle, I love the endings to your classes. Yoga inspires me to be better to my body every time I do it, unfortunately, there does not seem to be time in my life to fit in everything and right now your classes win and Yoga takes a back seat. The fact that you incorporate it in your classes makes me pay attention to how my body feels during the days following class and I actually do some more stretching/yoga moves just to feel limber. – Jennifer D
I wanted to tell you what a great class that was last night. I thoroughly enjoyed the class and the warm up and stretch portion as well. One of the things I’ve found I really enjoy about yours and Misty’s classes is we are always doing something different that I personally have never done, even after coming to these classes for almost a year. I also really appreciate how you go around and correct all of us when we aren’t doing something just right so that we get the full benefit from the exercise. I just wanted to thank you. I love the way these classes make me feel and the way I’m starting to look. I actually had someone compliment me on my shoulders the other day and I was wearing a long sleeved sweater so if they can see a difference now, I can only imagine what that person will think when Summer rolls around and we’re not wearing bulky clothing.
